Our Philosophy

Do you find that buying gifts can be hard work?  I did, and I always found myself frustrated when trying to buy things that were not only a bit different, but also of high quality and stylishly presented.  So I decided to solve the problem by creating Purple Pink and Red Ltd. - a company selling fabulous gifts for all occasions. 

Style

From vibrant to quirky, retro to girlie, gorgeous to vintage or just plain fun, all of our products have been carefully selected to catch the eye.  And they all meet one key criterion: we never stock anything that we wouldn’t love to receive ourselves.  That way we can be genuinely passionate about everything that we sell. The name itself is a little self-indulgent (see below), but I think it's completely apt for a company providing what I'm certain you will agree is a wonderful range of gifts designed to brighten your day.  

Objective

Our mission is simple: whether you are time poor, lacking in ideas and creativity, or simply looking for somewhere to pick and choose from a great selection of colourful products, we want to take the pain out of gift-buying for you.  At Purple Pink and Red you can have complete confidence, from the products you choose right through to the final presentation and delivery, that your recipient (even if it's you!) will be thrilled with their present. 

Quirkiness, Frivolity and Fun

You will notice that some of our products tend to be rather on the quirky or frivolous side.  This is entirely in keeping with our core aim: to brighten people's days.  These items really make us smile, and sometimes laugh out loud.  In our opinion that qualifies them as truly fantastic gifts!  We hope you will agree with us, and with our approach of avoiding too much of the conventional.

Presentation

Because we understand the importance of of both sending and receiving a gift that looks personal, stylish and beautiful, we offer our Gift Wrapping service totally free of charge with every order.  All our gifts are hand-wrapped by us, and the combination of gift box or wrapping paper, tissue paper, ribbons and tag is selected only at the time of wrapping, meaning that each gift is uniquely presented with personal care and attention.  

Support for British Businesses 

Finally, we really believe in supporting British businesses as best we can, and try wherever possible to buy from suppliers that are based in the UK.  Indeed many of them are small businesses set up by parents just like me, often hand-making the most wonderful products to order.  I hope you enjoy them as much as we do.  

Why 'Purple Pink and Red'?

With a house full of males (one husband and 3 'monkeys'), my life is full of browns, blues and greens (I sometimes wait a week for a washing machine slot for my purples, pinks and reds!).  I was becoming desperate for some vibrant colours in my life, and what better way to fulfill this than to start up a company with these wonderful hues in its name?
